THANK YOU!

A huge and a very sincere thank you to all the parishioners who sent cards, emails, texts, or posted messages on Facebook congratulating me and wishing me well on the occasion of my 70th birthday. Also, many thanks to the parish staff for arranging an excellent lunch last week, with an absolutely magnificent cake that was as good to look at as it was to eat. I spent the weekend with some special friends and had the opportunity to concelebrate Mass on my birthday at St. Catharine’s Church in Spring Lake. I feel blessed to have been able to share this special day while assigned here at Our Lady of Mount Virgin. God bless you.

For youth entering grades 9 - 12 on the OLMV grounds. Come on out to enjoy food and lawn games with the youth of the parish on August 8th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

Summer Mass and Giving

Summer is a great time to get away. Many of us are especially looking forward to getting away this year, having had our travel plans over the last year interrupted by the pandemic. Even when we are away, and maybe even especially when we are away, we need to keep God in our plans. And while it is important to financially support the Catholic churches at our vacation destinations, it is also important to keep your home parish in mind.

The best way to support the parish is to enroll in our online giving program. Through this program you can determine your donation amount, select the funds or funds of your choice to which to donate, determine the method of payment, and set the frequency of payments (one-time or recurring).
