Knights of Columbus Blood Drive

Thank you to those who donated blood at the Blood Drive last weekend sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. Fifty-four units of blood were collected. This is a new record for the Knights. God bless the donors for giving the gift of life.

Eucharistic 40 hours

In each of the eight deaneries in the Diocese of Metuchen, a Eucharistic Forty Hours will be held beginning on Sunday, January 23, and ending on Tuesday, January 25. This opportunity for prayer, to listen to what the Lord is asking of us, will set the tone for our upcoming Synod Listening Sessions. Right to Life Rose Sale

In support of Right to Life weekend, the Knights of Columbus will be conducting a Rose Sale the weekend of January 22nd & 23rd after all Masses. All those who make a donation will receive a mini Rose spray (while supplies last). All proceeds raised will go to support the Knight’s Ultrasound Program to assist in purchasing ultrasound machines for local pregnancy centers in need of one. Studies have shown that most of those who had the opportunity to see their babies through use of an ultrasound have chosen life.

Training for Current & New Altar Servers

There will be a required training of current and new Altar Servers, grades 4th through 12th, on Saturday, January 29 from 12:30PM-2:00PM in the church.

Parents are asked to be present in the church at 12:20PM prior to the start of the training.

Movie Night - The Song of Bernadette

The story of the peasant girl Bernadette Soubirous, an impoverished, pure-hearted adolescent, who saw the vision of a "Beautiful Lady" near her home town of Lourdes in 1858. The wondrous news spreads rapidly throughout France, leaving in its wake a variety of consequences.

Join us Sunday February 6th, for this movie time presented by the OLMV Evangelization Ministry.

Note on Online Giving

Many thanks to those parishioners who give online. Online giving, especially donations made on a recurring basis, provide the surest and most dependable financial support for the parish. If you give online, please advise the parish office to discontinue your envelopes, as they cost the parish valuable funds to maintain. If you give online and would like something to put in the collection basket, there are special envelopes available in the parish office for your use. Also, you can print out an online giving slip that is available here.
