Saturday: After 8:00 am Mass
Sixth Sunday of Easter
We Catholics have our work cut out for us. We will have to take the issue to the people, winning over the hearts and minds of individuals. Glossy posters and flyers alone won’t do it. We must convincingly persuade women not to have abortions; convince biological fathers and others not to encourage an abortion; convince the government and companies not to pay for abortions with our money; convince medical professionals not to violate their Hippocratic Oath by performing or materially assisting abortions. We must convince by persuasion and cogent argument in the marketplace of ideas, not by threats and not by harassment.
Every gift, no matter the size, is important and greatly appreciated. Together, we are working to become kindling that is set aflame by the Holy Spirit, allowing God’s love and power to burn more brightly here in the Diocese of Metuchen. Thank you for actively participating in this mission by your financial support.
